Default Body shop can't fixed my liftgate

My 2011 Q7 has been in body shop for a month. They can't fix the lift gate properly. The clearance between lift gate and body is not even. Is it impossible to make it like new from factory?
Also when lift gate closed, I don't hear the proper locking sound. After closing, it used to have 2 different locking sound. And body shop claimed it is closed. I am very mad.
Body shop will take the car to dealer and compare the how lift gate looks when new. And arrange to meet with adjuster to resolve this matter.

During the work, liftgate was not replace, but it needs to be repainted. Bumper was replaced.

The only people I know that can fix our Audis is from a Audi body shop. They have all the tooling and training for are cars.
My Q5 had passenger side doors replace came out perfect. (mall parking lot hit)

You can search on Audi collision list of shops in the area.

The liftgate, hood and front fenders are aluminium, very difficult to repair correctly by the corner shop. To adjust the bottom of the tailgate you can adjust the latch. Hope it works.

2 things. There are screw in and out rubber bumpers on the body that set the final spacing of the lift gate when shut. Also, if the closing sound isn't the same as it used to be, your issue may be with the "latch puller motor". Search threads I have posted in to find the part numbers and DIY fix. Have you been having battery issues as well? Mine were related to the ECU not shutting off because the puller motor was not registering the trunk as closed.
