Help with fitting under centre console
Hi
I am retrofitting the AMI to my Q7 2007 by following Giblet's instructions. I hope someone can help me out with a few problems I have it.
1. With my kit I did not get the: WSK 014 720 - Installation instructions, is it possible someone can maybe email them to me ?
2. When fitting the protective piece (4L0 863 269 4PK) I don't have any holes from the front to screw in to, do you have to drill the holes into the centre console yourself ? If so, how do you align the holes properly ?
3. When fitting the 4L0 898 283 - Spring set, the bolt that came with the spring set does not fit the pre-drilled hole in the mounting bracket, do you have to use a different bolt ?

Hey guys i live in canada and i want to update my 2G mmi (with nav) so i should go with the US version right?! does anyone happen to have the cds for that?! i would really appreciate it if someone could ship them for me and i would ship them back once done with them! if not does anyone know where i can get them for cheap?! Hey All really enjoy reading this forum! so helpful! I have 07 Q7 Sline i have all the parts needed to do the AMI retrofit but I need a VAG com Cable to enable AUX input from the sources under the CD menu on the MMI, anyone willing to help me out that lives in the DMV area would highly appreciated (DC MD VA) Thank you in advance
