Cost to Replace Windshield? 2011+

Funnily enough, I am just about to have mine replaced on Tuesday next week. A couple of stone chips are bad enough to warrant a new screen and it's just £75 for me which is the insurance excess. I would guess at somewhere between $600 and $900 though if you have to pay the full amount. There is going to be at least two hours labour I would expect.

I had mine done in El Paso, TX.
The windshield is around 500 (OEM) do not buy aftermarket cheap ones it is not certified for collision or accidents, and you need some small parts for the rain sensor, around 40.
The dealership does not have a body shop, so what they do is they call safelite windshield repair. Or someone else that can install in the correct way. My safelite labor was 95 dollars. Windshields are hard to remove and installed so look at it very carefully make sure it is install correct.
check your windshield rain sensor.

Had mine replaced by Safelite a few months ago. It was about $480, and cost me my $250 deductible. I got a $50 refund from Safelite after I noted they messed up, had to take the Q in to their shop for fix, and complained.

Just had to replace my windshield on my brand new (CPO) 2014. Convinced the crack was due to the windshield wiper and the low clearance from blade to the arm but Audi thought otherwise.
Anyway, after throwing in the towel, called my insurance company (NJM) and they referred me to Arrow in PA (they do work in NJ). Cost all done would have been $480 with non-OEM glass but after reading some reviews on some of the crappy replacements out there I insisted on OEM. Insurance approved so it cost me my $500 deductible but total cost was $740. Actually surprised it wasn't more but I definitely got OEM and glad I insisted on it.

Comprehensive claims typically don't affect rates. I have placed at least 8 comprehensive claims with USAA over the last 12 years, has never increased my premiums.
