Courtesy lamp from incandescent to OEM LED
Hey Folks,
have a 2008 Q7.
Looking to upgrade the Courtesy door lamps from incandescent to OEM LED.
Parts look up show an LED option for this year... part number 4D0919063A for both left and right sides. Is this a plug and play option?
2014 vehicles show the same part number as well.....4D0919063A
just looking for some wisdom from others that might have done this....
Appreciate your time in advance......

Lights under the doors. Looking at parts list on line and there was an LED option in 2008 through 2015. Part number is 4D0919063A.
Curious if anyone ordered the LED part and installed it and has insight or feedback they could provide.
Thanks........

Here is a link to the Sylvania product page for the 194 LED bulb: https://www.osram.com/osram_com/prod...Id=ZMP_1072056
The website is Osram but they also own the Sylvania brand name and sell these LED bulbs under it here in North America. ROW, it is under Osram. These bulbs are available through various online sources including Amazon and Walmart. Each will cost around $13 to $20.
If you are just looking to have the white LED light, this is the cheaper way to do it. If you want the Entry or Puddle Lights that project the Audi or Quattro logo then you'll have to change the whole assembly and spend a bit more $$.
