Default Crossed a milestone yesterday---

First 100k was very uneventful. Let's see how the next 100k goes. (fingers crossed)

Is that a FF sunroof? If so, is it noisy like mine is? I'm quite disappointed as every other sunroof I've had has been relatively quiet.

Love Alabama btw. I have friends in Arab. :-)

"FF sunroof" ? Not sure what you mean. It is the factory pano sunroof that most Q7s have. Yes it is fairly noisy. We rarely open it but today is a really nice day. Small world. I grew up about 10 miles from Arab. Still have some farmland there planted in pine trees.

Apologies, we use 'FF' for 'Factory Fitted' in the UK. Our Q7's don't come with sunroofs as a matter of course (it rains a lot!) so we have to pay extra. I find vehicles very dark & claustrophobic without them, especially in the Q7 as there was no option to have the beautiful cream leather interior which is only available in the SE over here. It's extremely noisy when the wind deflector is activated which really disappointing on a £50k vehicle.

Hopefully I'll make it back to Arab at some point in the future. I've yet to visit Birmingham & Guntersville.

Hopefully you will get to return someday. Marshall County Alabama is a special place. My ancestors are all there. All the way back to the mid 1700s! Predecessors came from England in the 1600s. We got to visit there last May. Spent two weeks roaming around. Loved the countryside. Felt like home :-)
