Cruise Control Glitch

Sorted?
I think I may have sorted this out. When I was having the glitching, I was running a 4 psi differential in tire pressures from front to rear - 42 psi front and 46 psi rear on 20" wheels - with no load other than myself in the car. After changing that to 42 and 44 the glitch has not returned.
Coincidence? Perhaps, but I'm thinking that the 4 psi differential and the variation in rolling circumferences was causing the Quatro center diff to work a bit harder than normal and heat up. The heat may have triggered the cruise control shutoff glitch.
Speculation for sure, but it hasn't glitched since I got the front and rear tire pressures closer together.
