I know you've been disappointed with your ML BT, but no interest in holding out for another 12 months or to to check out the new Q7 rather than ordering a 2015? The ML should hold its resale value pretty well considering you've got the last year offered with the V6 diesel, and IMHO, the interior of the Q7's look pretty dated.

@audi40

I never would buy the first year of a major model change. I liked my 2010, and wish I had never traded it. I'll probably like the 2015 just as well

I just traded in my 2011 S4 with 14k miles for a 2015 Q7 premium plus (Daytona Gray Pearl) last Saturday. The Q7's MSRP was $59,125 and they sold me the car for $53,xxx and took the S4's remaining balance at cost (I was not upside down). They had 31 Q7 during that day and they have 24 Q7's right now.

PM me if you want to know who I dealt with specifically. I'm located in Los Angeles.

Default Very Interesting

It sure looks like the three Atlanta dealers are all in collusion when it comes to pricing. All three have quoted MSRP less the exact same percentage discount.

Looks like the trade-in value will determine where the order is placed. Wouldn't it be interesting if all three offered the same exact amount for trade-in.

Go through a 3 party with folks like Pentagon Federal Credit Union. I ordered a fully loaded S-line TDI and every dealer I spoke to was willing to match the discount for the order. $500 deposit.

Good idea, but I'm not a member of a credit union.

Check their website. You don't have to be a member. There might be a small $20 fee for the buying service.

It worked and came out about $1k lower than the previous quotes. Now to see if the low dealer will honor it.

As expected the deal maker or breaker is the trade-in offered for my ML. The low balled trade-in from the low PenFed dealer more than offsets the higher price from a non-PenFed dealer.

The mid-range PenFed dealer will not honor the price they quoted for PenFed by saying the quote is subject to availability; and a Q7 to my specs is not currently available. They are trying to sell me a much higher optioned (blinged/packed) in stock Q7 at a smaller discount. Not going to happen!

Still waiting to hear from the highest PenFed dealer.

Ain't car buying fun?!??!!
