Hello,

I noticed a disconnected cable and I知 not sure what it is or where it goes. I was changing my wiper motor, following some YouTube videos. Unsure of when it came out. Does anyone know what cable this is? I知 just hoping it痴 not anything too important.





This is when I unscrewed the linkage before I moved it. And I noticed they cable in this area but can稚 find a socket for it to go in.

Looks to be some type of sensor for air or temperature. Mine is mounted under the plastic cowl (which your removed in your photo) and is open just like yours.

Also, I can't tell by the picture, but is there a part# you can google? Now you have me wondering what this does.

Lol. I知 gonna check after work if it痴 not too dark or tomorrow in the morning. I took the picture but I couldn稚 tell from the picture either. I was planning on checking when I got the chance. So I値l let you know if I can make out the numbers.

That part number will be for just the connector, not whatever it does. It looks unique though, might lead you to what it does.

That's the air quality 'sniffer' sensor for the HVAC system.
