Default Expensive Time A Coming

Just back from my first real service for the Q7 2013.
She has reached 40K miles..

But now i need Disc's all around and pads.
New Battery (not sure if this is covered under warranty, will find out soon)
4 new tyres.. (fitted Michelin Latitude Sport N1 ) last time and got 25K miles out of them..

So my questions are, do i go with Audi parts for the brakes or OEM?
What tyres are worth looking at? Want decent mileage from them. Mixed mileage both motorways and side roads..

Also i've been told a number of times to run on "Comfort" mode to save the tyres and good on fuel.. Any views?

Dynamic suspension setting is best for tires as less roll and saves tearing the edges off.
I put on Altenzo sports navigators (an australian tyre) after alot of research and the wear is even and slow and the grip dry or wet is same or better than the michelins that were on before and i replaced them with 20k on car.
It has 40k on now but i do run winter wheels too but at mot and service last month tyres were only down to 6mm.
I replaced pads only last time as discs were only half worn (measured) and put on ceramic pads. No dust but not as good from cold but fine when warm, next time i wil go for oem brembe pads and discs or the other option is zimmerman sets but having the larger rear brakes on mine I have less choice. sets on ebay are good value from audi/vw/porche dealers and one of the forums also has an audi parts supplier who is very good value for the uk. Discs and pads you can easily do yourself with just a few specific tools.

Audi have said that "Comfort" is the best for tyres and fuel, this is what i have used for nearly 3yrs.
So you have done 40K on a set of tyres?
I made a contact within Audi today and he if offering discount on parts and cash to fit, so hopefully it shouldn't cost a million..

Now looking to re colour the wheels and tyres and discs all in one hit..

Btw Went to Caravan show, feel in love with Schooner... Caraval no longer made..

I know its a nightmare with the Caravel, i need the longer too bunks and less faf making up a double at the front would have been nice and more relaxing when have kids or grandma visiting.

No I got mine with 16k on the clock, and put winters on at about 19k to replace the Michelins that looked to have not been on from new as were N0 porsche rated. Ran these for a couple of k and new summers went on at about 22k so thats 18k less another winter so prob about 15k up to now on them.

42 and 44 psi but mine is a fully kitted 4.2 so is probably a bit heavier than yours, forgot to add I lowered mine too 10/15 or 15/20 cant remember so my automatic setting is closer to the normal dynamic height.
