It is time for our first brake pad replacement at least for the front. I removed the tire and used a digital micrometer and found the rotors at about 33.05mm. If I understand correctly the range is 32mm - 33.9mm. This would seem to suggest that I don't need to change the front rotors with this first pad change. I am planning on going with a different brake pad than OEM (Hawk).

Based on the spec above would anyone disagree with waiting on the rotor change until the next set of pads?
