My front right windshield wiper is not working--the driver side still works--Any thoughts?

Guessing the linkage popped out, or the nut is loose.

Check to see if the external linkage broke. That was a "welcome to Q7 ownership" present our '07 4.2 gave me after about 1.5 weeks of ownership. New passenger side wiper arm mechanism was about $200. Of course ours broke when it was raining...

If the external linkage is fine and the nut that holds the arm onto the shaft is fine, it could be internal linkage that has broken. I don't remember, but most wiper drives have a single motor and linkage that operates & synchronizes the wiper arms.
