Headlight "Upgrade" from europe..?
I've been browsing Ebay.de lately for Q7 items and I keep stumbling on European Q7 Headlights with the clear "reflectors" (Not Orange). I've seen other posts similar to this but I guess I'll state my question.. I have a 2008 Q7 with the Bi-Xenon headlights with AFS and I was wondering if I could order them and swap my Bulbs and ballasts etc, and put into my Q7? would that work? also I've found some facelift headlights with the clear sides but it has the led surround... would it be possible to get facelift headlight and plug just the Bi-Xenon projector in and forget the Leds? just so the headlight would work until I can get around to doing full swap? and just leave normal turn signals? I'm not good at all with this stuff so I'm hoping someone on here can give me an explanation! Thanks! :-)

Thanks! I think I understood, so the Pre-Facelift E-Code headlights are direct plug and play as long as they are AFS and not the V12 ones? and also, the Post-Facelift E-Code headlights are not a direct plug and play because the headlights need an adapter? or are the Xenons on the Post-Facelift the same connections as the Pre-Facelift? I don't care about Led DRL in the Post-Facelift headlight assembly..preferably I'd like to leave the Pre-Facelift turn signals. Any Idea? Thanks! :-)

2007-2009 are plug and play providing you're replacing with the correct headlight & specs.
2010-2015 are plug and play providing you're replacing with the correct headlight & specs.
2010+ headlights are compatible with 2007-2009 vehicles but need adapters and coding to work properly.
do not purchase v12 headlights they will need a great deal of modification to work properly.
