I wouldn't think so. Had you not gotten fuel codes, I wouldn't have thought that. But with electronics in newer vehicles, you never know. Usually when you get an epc light, there's a short somewhere, a low battery, a loose connector, or the part actually failed. If all else fails, take it to an audi dealer or indie mechanic with all the factory diagnostics.

Q7 NEED A LOT OF ELECTRICITY TO RIDE ON CITY,EVERY TIME WHEN YOU MAKE A STOP OR PUSH ON ACCELERATION A LOT OF ENERGY COME FROM THE BATTERY TO GET ON YOUR ENGINE TO PUT MORE POWER. I KNOW THE GENERATOR GIVE ALSO POWER, BUT NOT ENOUGHT.

ON CITY THE RPM IS RUNNING ABOUT 2000 AT 3000 RPM IN A SHORT TIME. IN YOUR CASE I THINK THE BEST RESULT ,IF YOU DON'T WHANT TO FIX A INTELLIGENT CHARGER.

Do you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the car on but not start it? Pump will always prime on start up, so you should hear it run for a few seconds.
