Help with 08 Q7 Telephone Settings
My bluetooth for the phone has quit working in our 08 Q7. Vagcom seems to indicate the module (77) is good, but it seems like my configuration has been deleted. Maybe it is as simple as recoding. Can someone use their Vagcom and look at module 77 and hit the coding button? All of my values are blank, and I need values for Software Coding, Workshop Code, Importer Number, and Equipment Number. My wife would really like her phone working again. Thanks

I have the exact same issue in my 08 Q7. Have ignored it for a bit, but they like to hand out big fines around here for not being handsfree on the phone. Need help, and I am not nearly as technical as jmhjgh is.

Hunter84, I'm just down the road in Oakville. I have a VCDS cable and I can scan your codes for you if you want to meet up. I'm not a pro with the codes, but if you post the results here omeone can help.

Thanks Northern.
Not much luck yet:
I have 4F0-910-336 E. I try your coding: 1070091 with workshop code 31414 importer# 790 and equipment# 00001.
The system comes back with: Rejected with Error 31: Request out of range
Anyone have any ideas?

Usually you can get some hints as to how to code it from within VCDS by hovering over the coding itself. Then by using math and knowing what kind of equipment / settings you want you can maybe come up with a coding to try.
I don't have access to my car right now or I would check for you.

I did get a coding accepted last night (0010970). I recoded channel 133 to 1 to turn bluetooth on, and the system acts strange. My phone will see 00:00:00:00:00:00 to pair with and not the expected Audi name. It pairs and then my Samsung S4 will exit bluetooth and start back up in a repeating cycle. The Q7 will say no telephone is connected, and then when the bluetooth sharing hangs in my phone, it will appear that a phone is connected and I could possibly dial a call. Unfortunately, the call can't be completed fast enough and the cycle of disconnects repeats. I may have a corrupt module. Maybe I should try and update MMI software (I need to look and see what version I have) and see if it helps? And, channel 133 has turned itself back to 0 (bluetooth off) on a few occasions, but not necessarily with every ignition cycle.

Scanned Hunter84's Q7. Confirmed that he's got the same issue as the OP where the module's coding has been erased. Since another poster indicated that copying NorthernQ7's codes didn't help, we left it "as is" for now.
If a coding solution is found that works, I'd be glad to meet up again and give it a shot.
