Limp mode disaster!

That's kind of crazy. A $65,000+ SUV should be able to get its exhaust wet without ruining sensors. The whole emissions BS pisses me off. What if you ran out of Adblue, or the Adblue leaked and you were 100 miles off of the grid camping. What then? You would be screwed all because of regulations that are supposed to "protect" us. Shame on the EPA. There was a guy from Canada traveling through my town with his Ram 1500 with a travel trailer and he was on the side of the road with his truck because his eco diesel wouldn't run because of the Adblue/urea stuff was empty. Poor guy had no cell phone that worked and a family that thought their vacation was going to be ruined. I get that emissions are important. But the vehicle should still be able to run just fine at full power without Adblue. Just produce more emissions. Sigh. What exactly happens on Audi's? Can the vehicle still drive??
