Finally pulled the trigger and purchased a used Q7 - flew to Detroit and picked up an '08 3.6L S-Line. Was nervous and scared I was going to get a lemon, but I know a lot about cars and gave it a thorough inspection.

Drove it 400 miles home, LOVE the car. No issues, rides good, engine sounds healthy, shifts are crisp, no vibration at highway speed, etc.

Now - park it overnight, notice a drip on the floor...clear 'oily' liquid on the underside on the drivers side, just inside from the wheel.

Probably brake fluid? I checked the brake fluid reservoir and it seemed to be covered in it - thinking maybe they spilled some when they checked it prior to selling it, or maybe the lid was leaking - seemed tight though and the level was good. The brake fluid resv. seems loose - I can move it a good half inch or so and 'rock' it around. Anyone have this issue? I'm 600 miles away from my garage, so limited with tools, etc. otherwise would dive in.
