Now that's a piece of good luck! Let us know how you like the new tires once they're installed.

Ft Worth Audi. Best dealer I've ever dealt with... no high pressure sales, gave me a very fair trade-in value, worked with me on the Q7 price, stayed late to explain all the features to me and my wife and now taking care of the tire issue. Would definitely buy from them again have already recommended them to several friends. Great dealership!

Well... got the Latitude's installed yesterday. First impressions are:
  • it's still noisy--just less so than with the Pirelli's
  • it does ride noticably better
  • turn in is maybe just a bit less crisp
  • Ft Worth Audi is awesome

UOTE=slingshot60;24443428]LOL--here in Texas we really don't need winter tires... we maybe got 1" of snow this winter--total. Will check into the Michelins... thanks for the tip.[/QUOTE]

Our infamous Texas chip seal highways! No tires are quiet on the damned chip seal.

I bought my Audi from a dealer in MN back in August and drove it home. I was really impressed with the quiet and relaxing ride all the way south to Wichita Falls, TX. When I turned west on US 82 headed for home I encountered chip seal black top and the car suddenly roared.

I appreciated your testimony about Audi of Ft. Worth. It's a long distance from where I live but perhaps it will be worth the drive for my 15k service.

SO, I've been through this with 3 Q7s now - they came off the lot with 21s - VERY LOUD - I went to 20's as it was impossible to find all seasons for those rims.

The 20s were almost equally as loud.

The bad news (for you) - my 2014 and my 2015 both had 19s - with Contis - the road noise is 200% less - only noisy on the coldest days.

Try knocking out 3-5 lbs of air if you don't want to go to 19s

Sorry, no other help to offer - sucks I know.
