Problem with the fuel rail
Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my 07 with the 3.6 engine. The pressure sensor at the back of the fuel rail seems to be clogged as it is shaking a lot at idle. I was wondering if anyone had the same issues since my indy and my dealer told me they never saw that pressure sensor being replaced.

TSB is present for Thrust Sensor failure

"Due to fuel intrusion into the low-pressure system fuel pressure sensor (G410), a false signal may be sent to the controller, resulting in a reading that is out of tolerance."
03C-906-051-A should be the right part number low pressure sensor on the BHK motor. There is a low pressure and a high pressure sensor. The low pressure sensor measures the pressure between the fuel pump in the tank and the high pressure fuel pump at the engine. The high pressure fuel pump then increases the pressure to extraordinarily high pressure for the direct cylinder fuel injection. My 4.2L had a bad low pressure sensor and they replaced it under warranty.

I know this is an old thread, but my wife's 4.2 FSI had an EPC incident today. It disappeared after turning off the engine at her destination. Did replacing the fuel pressure sensor fix your problem?
