I noticed in a brochure that there were no belts in the 3rd row, as if they were tucked away somewhere. I thought that was just for marketing / picture purposes. But today I was digging around and noticed a label on the belt lower, outer anchor. It shows how to attach the seatbelt with the first part being attached to the outboard anchor, and the 2nd step to fasten as a typical seatbelt.

My question is, how do you disconnect the thing and place the seatbelt out of the way when the 3rd row isn't in use or is using LATCH child seats? I could not find a release button.

And yes, I looked at the manual and the addendum, and there's nothing about it. 2007 4.2 BTW.

insert ignition key in the red slot. You could also use a small screw driver/coat hanger but its not as stylish or convenient.

The ignition key doesn't fit, but the small flathead screwdriver did. What a pain in the you know what. They could have made that much easier to do.
