Default Q7 drain pipes clogged

Audi dealer had my 2009 4.2 prestige in for a collision repair and when I got it back I took it to the car wash, and water, atleast 2cups or more, leaked into the car on passenger side floor mats... They said it's a typical issue for the Q7 due to clogged drain pipes running from the sunroof.. Is it easy to clean or another costly service?? How is this not a recall!!??

Common issue, for some reason not a recall. It was around $300 to fix the front right drain tube on my 4.2. My 3.6 so far has been fine (or previously fixed), knock on wood...

Ok I'm seeing threads on this issue and repairs varying from $300 to $800.
Drano less than $10 right? Big no no I guess.

I wouldn't put drano down the drains unless you want drano to leak into the car. The clog is most likely at the very end of the drain and it's possible to clear the clog yourself by removing the wheel well lining behind the tire, locating the drain, and reaching in with a finger or 2 to pull out the debris. It's also possible to run some sort of thin cable down from the top of the drain and push everything out.

There are detailed instructions/photos on how to do this somewhere on the forum. A quick search might yield the info I'm talking about.

I had the Dealer retrofit the front drains and I did the rear myself before the right rear fails and damaged the Amp which cost close to 1000K.
