Q7 Fuse questi
Just bought 2012 Q7. Trying to verify that all necessary fuses are good. Manual shows fuses in panel A and B for the same item. For example, heated seats in panel A is 20A ,, but in panel B it is 5 A for heated seats. What is the difference? Both needed? is there some better reference material to help identify the fuses. Thanks!!!

I'm not familiar with the Audi systems but it sounds like the 20 amp fuse is for the heater elements and the 5 amp fuse is for the controls. The control circuit is an ignition circuit which means that the heaters turn off when the engine is off.
Both circuits are necessary. It's the same why that I wired up my aftermarket seat heaters. Same type of circuitry is used on driving and fog lights.
