Q7 Mileage Life Expectancy?
How long do you all think that the Q7 will last? My Q7 is a 2008 4.2 Premium with 104,300 miles, just curious as to how long it is expected to last? I've searched all over the country (USA) for used Q7's with high mileage to see what the Q7s are living too, unfortunately, the highest mileage V8 model has 169,000 and is located in NC on Craigslist, the highest mileage V6 I've found has 201,000 but was in a salvage lot, one in running condition has 175,000.. I'm not looking to buy any of those, I'm happy with my Q7 , just seeing mileage readings. It makes me nervous that I can't find high mileage V8s... I was hoping to see 250k+mi Q7's for sale but I didn't.. Im a little worried now! Haha! I'm just Curious? What mileage readings does everyone have here on their Q7's?

I bought my CPO 2008 Q7, 4.2 Premium in Sept., 2009 with < 12,000 miles. Now with about 172,000 miles, it looks and runs great. It uses about 1 quart of oil every 6,000 miles since it hit 150,000 miles. I replaced the driver's seat cover at 165,000 and the windshield twice.

I'll chime in here.
2008 3.0 TDI - 228,000 km and going strong
Zero problems really - re-circ valves on both banks changed once (one under warranty, the other not).
Car runs like the day I bought it 7 years ago.
Service has always been done on time at 30k km (long-life).
I'd replace it if I had liked the new Q7 - but I really dislike the redesign so I'll probably just run this one into the ground.

I'm debating keeping the 4.2 until it is dead, has 91k on it right now, I've never not kept an Audi into the 110k+ mileage range (I had one old quattro with approximately 250k miles when I parked it with rear diff whine and a leaky fuel tank, the transmission and engine lived on in other cars and I still have most of the exceptionally nice interior). The 3.6 will hit 60k on the return trip from vacation on Saturday.
I figure if my dad's owned-since-new '08 Enclave can run to over 200k miles the Q7 should be able to as well.

This makes me feel so much better about my Q7! I love it! Only problem I've run into is back in the beginning of June I went to start my Q7 early in AM, as it started, the engine shook violently and was making a loud squeaking noise, and EPC light was on, took the other car that day, when I got back that evening, started it, everything was perfect, it's been running great ever since, 104,000 now, I'm aiming for at least 200,000 , hopefully 250,000 miles! I can only hope so!!!
