Q7 Pics from Detroit Auto Show

[QUOTE=69Firebird400;24645345]I was at the show for the past two days. Here are a few interior shots and one under hood shot.
The exterior is too VW although the interior is very nice. Did you get a chance to try the third roll?

No, didn't try the third row. I'm 6'4" and it would have been some combination of painful/embarrassing/awkward for me to get in there. I did peek over the third-row seatbacks and there is not much room for legs between the front of the third seat and the back of the second seat - maybe 8 inches.
I will say that the second row seats are quite comfy and spacious, though.

No Thanks! That was not the direction they needed to go with the exterior. Looks like I'll be keeping mine for awhile or moving to a new model.

i'm not sure how i feel about the new Q7 overall; I don't hate it or love it off the bat so maybe that's a good thing. The rear lights and lower diffuser look straight off the A8.

Doesn't look bigger, but is it more spacious inside?
Can't tell from the gray color if it's bigger than the previous version or if it's just visual tricks with my eyes. It "looks" smaller from the outside, but from everything I've read, it's supposedly larger on the inside in terms of wheelbase being lengthened to give passengers more legroom.
Jalopnik was NOT a fan of the new design.

Looks like I am in the minority here...I personally like it. Now I haven't seen the exterior in person (Saw the interior at CES) but overall I like the look. Not a huge fan of the grill but don't hate it either.
Even though the press release says it's about the same size inside, it doesn't look like it judging by the pictures...pictures can be deceiving though.
Also, having been a wagon (Avant) guy my whole life, I don't mind the lower look. With the adaptive air, I know I can raise it when needed, but also have the dynamic driving experience when driving around town.
Anyways, I'll wait till I see it in person and actually drive it before passing final judgement. First impressions though, I like it.
