Default Q7 starting Problems

Hi, my name is Ali, i'm new(ish) to the forum but have been lurking around for a while. I have a problem with my Q7 and was wondering if anyone could help. I have 2006 Q7 S line 3.0 tdi, it was upgraded to a 2012 spec inside out by the previous owner. For a while now, 6-8 months, i've been having problems with the car starting. The car can go day's with no problems and then it won't start, and then i have to jump start it, but if i drive it around for a while and then turn it off then try to start it again, it won't start again or it will take a few attempts for it to start. I've changed the battery, changed the alternator, the starting motor is fine. I even took it to the Dealers and they said it's the battery but still i get the same problem even though I've changed the battery. Can anyone help

When you change everything did you clear all the faults on VAG and also uploded the new battery into the ECM computer with Vag?

When you say it will not start, is this because the engine will not start but the start etc... all seems to be working fine but no matter how long you try for, the engine will not start or is it that it gives symptoms of a flat or low level of battery charge?

Does your car have keyless entry and if so, do all four door handles work properly - does it open instantly from every door or do you have to pull the handle a couple of times first?

Is it the same when the engine is hot or completely cold?

Possible the battery is bad, you should still have a remainder of warranty on it so have it tested to see if it's the culprit.
