Q7 Windows UP/Down with keyfob
I just received my VAG-COM HEX-CAN and have been making mods to my 2013 Q7
Accurate information is difficult to find, but as I solve things, I will post them.
First, I have succeeded in getting the Windows DOWN with keyfob.
I have also succeeded in getting them to roll UP, and close sunroof(s), with keyfob.
It's really a 2 step process.
Once VAG-COM (VCDS) is connected to the car, with ignition on, do the following:
Select Control Module (upper left choice)
Select "Installed" Tab (default tab)
Select 46-CentralConv
Select Coding
Change Coding, adding 128 (this enables comfort option via remote) Mine had value 3569949, adding 128 gives you 3570077 (which is what I changed to)
Save, and exit back to the previous page.
Note: 128 represents the 8th bit. If you convert your number from decimal to binary, then the 8th bit from the right needs to be changed from 0 to 1, which you do by adding the 128. If I needed to turn on the 6th bit, I would have added 32, because the bits, are represented by the exponential base 2 numbers, (bits 1 to 16 are 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192, 16384, 32768)
Now, the above just turns on the comfort OPTION with keyfob. At this point, your windows will probably roll down with keyfob, because hat is the default.
From the 46-CentralConv screen, turn on other window options by doing the following:
Select Adaptation-10
For Channel, enter 61, and click Read
It's likely that your current value is 10 (2+8, where 2 is window down with remote, and 8 is sunroof open with remote, except that option can't actually be enabled)
Enter a new value of 15 (1+2+4+8, where 1 is windows up with remote, and 4 is sunroof close with remote), so you are adding 5 (turning on bits 1 and 4).
Test, Save and close.
For details on what each bit does, look here on the Ross-Tech site for Q7 programming:

Now, when you lock with the remote, you can hold the lock button, and all windows will close, along with the sunroof. If you unlock with the remote, and hold unlock, all the windows will go down, but the sunroof will NOT open, because this option never actually works (don't know why).
So, for those who are confused by VAG-COM and how to program, the above will hopefully explain what is happening.
