Rattle in Passenger (Middle) Row Seats
Hi all,
Have been going on some bumpy roads recently and noticed there's a rattle coming from the middle passenger row (on the seat behind the driver in RHD). I think there is movement in the seat sliding rail system (a little bit forward and backwards). Is this a known issue, and if so, what is the replacement part number? [NB I have seen people say there is often a rattle from the hinge but don't think it's that, I think it's from the rail).
Many thanks.
Ben

Pretty sure it's the seats as stops when people sitting in them I think, although need to confirm. What's the fix for the cargo cover our of interest? (presume that is the floor pan over the spare wheel? If it's the retractable thing at shoulder height, I'm await delivery of one of those as was missing on purchase)

Good luck with the rattle. I have it, too. It's the rear passenger side which includes the center console portion. You can easily see it shaking in the rearview mirror going over bumps.

Heh. I may have your solution. This happened in my Q5. In the Q5, it's the "post" in the rear seat latch. Slap a little tape (like black electrical tape) on it and the rattle disappears.
If I remember correctly, it was the post that is exposed when you fold just the middle section of the seats down.
