On the mk2 Q7 they do and you can control MMI from each tablet or disable that feature if the child lock is on. This current system was a complete after-thought on the 4L. I was the best they could do with what they had.

Yes, it really does defeat the object of having the power sockets in the seat back when there is no other cabling installed to at least tidy the whole thing up a bit!

Please help! We can't remove the caps around the brackets at all. We have a 2014 Q5 with the rear entertainment system. All the dealers we have asked have no clue and tell us that this can NOT be removed. Thanks!
