Default Removing S-Line Fender Trim...

Anyone on here remove their S-Line fender trim?

I am curious to see what it looks like and am getting conflicting information.

Dealer told me it is held on by double face tape and a screw but local body shop said it's just double face tape.

Photos?

FWIW I removed the V6T badges from my S5, and replaced them with SC badges. The new SC badges (Audi OEM) were applied with the double faced tape already attached.

I removed the V6T badges with dental floss, then removed the adhesive with bug & tar remover.

I recently had the right front fender on my Q7 replaced; body shop removed the SC badge and reinstalled on new fender with double faced tape. It too was held on with double faced tape only.

no set screw in the trim? dealer told me there is a screw that holds it in place to align with the rest of the fender trim.

2015 S4 here... removed my V6T badges, replaced with OEM Supercharged badges... all double-sided tape. No screws involved. Lets's be honest, it's probably a North American cost saving measure by Audi, haha... less "parts and labor

5 minutes per side... dental floss and Goo-gone. Maybe a hair dryer to soften it up if you're it's freezing cold outside.

i am not referring to the badges... those are gone. i am referring to the textured black fender trim pieces found along the bumper fender and rear quarters.

it appears the dealer may have been correct. looks like there is a hole for a screw.

Why do you want to remove them? You might have a buyer lined up already ;-)

just want to change things up... the black trim adds to the wheel gap. it will look lower without them.

if there is a hole in the quarter or fender for a set screw then i am not removing them but if they can be removed without issue they're yours if you want them.

Let me know if you're looking to sell it after you remove it. I'm interested...
