thanks. i will probably attempt this when i return from vacation. worst case scenario is i'll have to buy a new trim piece to stick on.

I'm looking for a front left piece, only the one small front piece on the bumper cover. Mine is broken. Rest of the pieces are fine. If anyone has an extra one, even if discolored, etc. like they get, I'll pay a reasonable price and shipping. Thanks!

Did you take the pieces off? Just received my ebay trim, and want to replace my OEM since they're discolored and have a broken piece. Just wondering if you did encounter a screw, and how you removed them - dental floss and heat gun?

Mine Ebay replacements are still sitting in the box in the garage - haven't had time to tackle it, and wondering if I'm better waiting until spring, vs. putting new ones on a cold car and risking the adhesive not working as it should.
I didn't see a screw in the schematic link that was posted...I figured I'd heat it up with a heat gun, and slowly peel the existing off, working some fishline under them, and if I hit a snag, it would most likely be a mounting screw of some sort. I haven't even looked that close to see if one is hidden behind the fender plastic, etc.

i may just have them painted. contemplating this option to make the vehicle look wider but i am concerned about the final product. i don't want it to look like some aftermarket wide body kit.

Do not attempt to remove your S-Line trim if it came installed from the factory.
The factory uses a combination of epoxy and double faced tape.
You will not be able to get the epoxy off without damaging the paint.
End result is I will most likely have the trim painted in the coming weeks.
^These black tabs are rock hard, solid epoxy or plasti-weld. There is no way I could remove these tabs without risking painting damage. At least none that I know of. If anyone has any ideas please share.
