Default Shell I go with settlement or not?

Owning 2012 Q7 P+ with 45k miles on it in perfect conditions and thinking if I get ~ 30K + 7K using VW settlement make me think perhaps not to use that settlement and use one of the layers ... got a few flayers to "Volkswagen Opt Out Packet" but just can't decide it yet.
Wander how many people have similar thought ?

tks

If you go out on your own then "Good Luck With That" is the proper goodbye. VWAG has accepted some generous terms in the Gen 1 3.0 buyback and are paying the plaintiff's attorney fees separate from that. If you go out on your own you will probably end up with the same terms since most judges will just cite preexisting litigation....but...your attorney fees will come out of your settlement.

The lawyers are not going to get you a better deal than that, I just bought a 2014 Prestige w/42k miles, AAS/ACC/etc for $42k.. $37k for a 2012 P+ is pretty freaking good deal; take it or keep the car.. but lawyering up at this point will just cost you more money and time.
