T-Mobile update to ATT

T-Mobile update to ATT
Have a 2015 Q7 which as T-Mobile. Tmobile only supports 3G and in many cases 2G and has a generally disappointing service area for 3G. I'd like to move over to ATT but ATT with the delivered Chipset only support 2G if I recall correctly.
Does anyone know if an upgrade to ATT 3G/4G is possible? They are offering it in the newer cars, curious if anyone had any idea as to what it would take to upgrade to get it.
I'm considering doing it prior to paying for my T-Mobile when it runs out in 3 months.
Any Thoughts?

Well, because I'm as impatient as they come, I went to the ATT store, got a SIM, stuck it in the Q, and It WORKS!. 3G... Plug and Play.
A slight challenge getting the folks at ATT to get the right Sim Card. They wanted to register it to a Phone (which is how the codes read off of the Q), but that $15/month and we were able to register it to a Tablet which is $10 a month.
So all Works. 2015 Q7. Don't get me wrong, wish it was the new setup in the A3's, but Tmobile coverage sucks around me and ATT is where its at.
So in the end. ATT 3G, $10 a month, 30 seconds of setup, and good to go.

Ryan,
Just out of curiosity, is there a data cap on how much you can use per month with ATT? I know in case of T-Mobile, there is none. Also you can only use 3g, but not 4g with ATT?

Correct, Just 3G with the existing Chip set. My phones get LTE, but no glory with the Q.
I have a 20 gig cap on mine, but even with all the travel I do and the web-ex's I host from my phone as a hot spot, I rarely if ever that I can remember have gone about 10 gig a month.
I tested the D/L Speed with ATT yesterday at got 3meg/sec down. I'm going to re-install the T-Mobile card and try that. Wife said the internet was A LOT faster than before, but we'll validate with the speed test.
