I'm a diy'er for everything for my cars.. from building to painting to tuning. Well.. not tuning on Audi, because that doesnt seem to be possible, but you get the idea.

So is there a post discussing people's known issues, items that arent necessarily advertised as should-be-replaced, etc? I've compiled a small list, like the timing chains are scary around 150k, but is there a big known list? I was hoping for a sticky here on the forums, but I dont see this. I'm rebuilding my vette engine right now, in anticipation of pulling my q7 tdi for chains and any other prudent refresh items next winter.
