found a chip/gouge while washing the (2 month old) Q7 :=( not sure where and when it happened.

Glacier White: OEM/dealer or other sites? anyone recommend which is better ?

If rust is forming, you can't do a touch up job.

I've touched up some gouges on my wife's Q5 plastic bumper cover, also Glacier White, with the kit from Dr Colorchip. However, the scope of your damage has me mumbling "body shop" to implement a proper repair.

Touching up Glacier White is a marginal proposition as it is a 3 stage paint. The color match from the Dr Colorchip kit was better than I expected. She says she can't see where I touched up.

thanks both. not really looking for a perfect result. wouldn't mind having a lump or blot there as long as I'm saving the rest of that panel/part.

do I have to give Dr. Colorchip a paint code? and which package?

go to the site and put in your year and make then model. it will provide you with color options. you can also go to your local body shop but for the amount of paint you need it will cost more than the other two options.

The paint code is LS9R. I buy the smallest amount of paint possible. You'll never use it up before it goes bad.
