any help would be great, i own a 2007 q7 4.2L v8 with the sline pkg. and i am looking to buy a vag com setup off of ebay, but want to make sure i am getting the right thing here.... any feedback would be appreciated, as well as if you know a better place to purchase this than ebay

The HEX-CAN cable is $349 from Ross-Tech directly and a 10" tablet goes for about $200 on Amazon. If you are in the US I would buy the cable directly from Ross-Tech, in Germany AI is their distributor so the interface might be legit. The question is whether or not this seller is a distributor (easy to register with Ross-tech to get support) or just sells this 2nd hand (additional cost to register with Ross-tech for support).

do not purchase the replica garbage off ebay. nowhere near as comprehensive and not all modules are accessible.
