Thanks for posting this. These videos are so much more informative on many levels compared to the released Audi media and automag images.

The one thing that really makes me scratch my head is why Audi chose to lip the wheel arches with a separate component vs. leaving it monolithic to the unibody. It just looks cheesy, awful, and tacked on. It had to be some compelling combination of weight savings and cost. That design element more than any other is what turns me off.

Those solid wave guides in the headlights (for the DRL element) are pretty impressive. It is very difficult to get uniform light extraction in a complicated structure like that, particularly if that is an injection molded component.

The binnacle LCD display is very cool too. Makes you wonder why you'd need the pop-up display in the center of the dash at all- likely for "co-pilot" nav and audio convenience....
