Installed the painted dash trim to replace original silver part..
Pretty happy with finish item, better than silver, but would have liked Carbon Fibre..

today i fixed an annoying problem.
my q7 is always being used as a 7 seater so 3rd row is always up, however when you open the doors only the roof lights in the front and middle row come on.. the light above the 3rd row only comes on when you open the boot!
so i ran a cable from the middle dome lights to the light above the 3rd row seating so now the kids can see when getting in and out when i open the door as per the rest of the passengers, plus out still comes on when i open the boot

I really, really like that, the silver has never been my thing, one of the only things I really don't like about this gen Q7.
