I was mostly referring to the fact that the back wheels tuck in more than the front wheels so wouldn't you need to stagger the front and rear spacers so that they will evenly match up.

yes, if you do a 16mm in the rear it would be 100% equal, however they do not make a 16mm spacer for these cars.

but you could do a 15mm spacer and get pretty close. I have been meaning to put my extra 10mm spacers on the rear wheels of my wife's Q7 to at least get closer to the fronts. How did you figure out that the front to rear is 16mm spacing. Is there a way to figure this out on all Audi's. I want to do the same to my B7 S4 as well. Thanks

was not aware they made a 10mm for the q7...

you can use an offset tool or you can just manually measure the distance from the top of the wheel (not tire) to the edge of the fender.

Any safety issues with running spacers? Read alot of negatives and read alof of positives. Most of the negatives were running cheaply made spacers or spacers that were too wide.

purchase h&r spacers which are hub centric and use the appropriate bolts and you SHOULD be fine. go to big or use improper bolts and you will have lots of issues.

X2...if you go with spacers I would stay with H&R's. I have been running spacers for over 5 years on my last few ideas with no problems.

Would not use anything else but H&R for the Audi. Havent figured out what size to get yet. Running oversized wheels/tires, they stick out a little on the front, that is why I would not go with spacers on the front. Want the rear to stick out a little more though.

Here is a link: http://grnmachine.shutterfly.com/82

Running 296/45/20's on 20x9.5 wheels (will need to look up the backspacing/offset). Currently have the stock 20's on (for winter). Hope to get the aftermarket wheels on this weekend so I can get a better idea of width etc. Leaning towards 23mm spacers but that may be too aggressive.
