Wife wants new wheels for 09' Q7...Help!
Wife wants some new wheels for her 09' Q.
The more I read, the more confusing it gets.
It currently has 18' wheels.
She LOVES the 22" on my Infiniti QX56, and wants a similar look.
What size would fill the fenders WITHOUT lowering the Q?
She showed me this pic and likes these. Would they look correct? A good option, or no?

The 285-35-22 will fill the wheel gap better than the 295-35-21. See my thread where i show pics of both. I recently went from 21 to 22.

Hey, thanks buddy! I was checking that thread out last night. Very nice looking Q in both wheels I must say! Were they 9, 10, or 10.5? Also, I see some mention using 285/40/22 tires in a couple other threads. Would the 40 size fill the gap a little more, or would that cause wheel rub? No air suspension on her Q unfortunately.

I read somewhere that The 285-40- 22 MAY rub a little bit on sharp turns

The sacrifices we make for kool looking wheels...less choices, decreased performance, a slightly wacky speedo...maybe ride quality? But as long as she like it, right! Appreciate you guys. This Forum is full of great info

I have a couple sets for sale both the OEM 21's to the left and the custom AC Forged 3-piece wheels to the right. Both have fresh tires, maybe 2k miles on both sets of tires. The OEM's are running 295/35 Advan's. AC Forged are running a really expensive set of Pirelli Scorpion 335/25 rear, and 295/30 front.
If you're interested in the wheels here's the original for sale thread where I bought them:
22 in 3 piece track spec forged wheels - 6SpeedOnline - Porsche Forum and Luxury Car Resource
Would like to try and not take too much of a loss on them.
Only reason I'm selling is I have another custom set being cut to spec that really really pushes the boundaries on width.

if your wife would like new wheels don't go bigger than the oem 20" five spoke especially if you do not have adaptive suspension. you'll be taking them off few hundred miles down the road. if you have adaptive suspension the oem 21" ride well and take a beating and there are winter tires that work very well for them. i've had them in double ditch snow in single digit weather.
