Window will not go up
I've had my 2011 Q7 TDI for just over a week. Today, without warning, my drivers side window will not go up. I hit the button and it goes up about 6 inches and then back down.
I was able to force it up when I got to my destination by catching it on the way up and giving it a pull. I have not pulled off the door card yet, but I have a 2500 round trip road journey ahead in a few days.
Any ideas?

I actually found this thred while searching dealing with the "One Touch" or "Anti Pinch" feature. It 9 years old so I am wondering if it holds any merit.

Regarding the motor, it seems to run fine, its just the window goes up, about 6" then goes back down. Once I get it up all the way, it will go right down.

I did the one-touch reet proceedure and it did help. However, I do notice a slight restriction in one spot as the window goes up and down. It goes down all the way, and I feel that restriction. On the way up, it will stop at that point, but I can hit the button again and it will go all the way up.
So now I am thinking its the regulator or a dirty track. I hope I get through my road trip because when I get back, I have an appointment with a guy that does dent repair (I just got a nice shopping cart dent).
I like the Q7.... It just has not been very good luck for me.
