Can you not display the full pressures and temperature in the MMI on the later cars?

You can see the pressures in MMI? I've never seen that! Where do I find that?

2010+ do have sensors in the wheel they go by abs/revs. pre facelift models have sensors. the easiest way to tell is look at your valve stem. if it is the standard rubber one you do not have tpms in the wheel if you have a thick aluminum valve stem then you have tpms.

no. i have tried to enable that on every Q7 starting with 2007 and it is not possible... if you search the archives or other forums under my sn you will find multiple attempts through vagcom/vcds but it just won't work.

on ROW models you can see the tire pressure and temperature... not USDM:

Interestingly, one of the TPMS sensors "went off" in our Q7 (US model) about a month ago and after checking pressures and adjusting the offending tire pressure, I went into the MMI TPMS setting without starting the ignition and a screen was displayed that I had never seen before- it was the 4 corner overview of tire temperatures and pressures, but they all had null or zero readings.

I thought it was some menu option I had not found previously and expected I could get back to it after doing a system pressure reset, but I have yet to be able to find that screen again after multiple attempts. I think it was a fluke software glitch/occurence that wasn't supposed to happen. I don't understand why Audi doesn't allow this display option on US Q7s with TPMS sensors.

i do not understand either... EU A6/A8 have this available and it's very handy however nothing to be found on any of ours. i tried coding and playing around with different options and no luck. i am guessing it is part of a regional software bundle considering the hardware is the same.

even a 2010 base line touareg offers it in the mfd:

Correct, on my A8 and on the Q7, I see the pressure and temp of all four wheels with a graphic display either green, amber or red for OK, warning or danger.

On the Q7 you only get the four as it has no sensor in the spare, unlike the A8 which has a full sized spare wheel.

I heard the same thing, but my TPMS light when off and I had the sensors checked in the tires and all where fine. I just borrowed a VAG and disabled the system. no more light. I went 30 years with out the light I guess I don't need it on my q7. as these vehicles get older things are going to start failing. look around the procedure to disable the system is out there..

My TPMS just went off again! I guess it is working now. In this case, all four tires were about 12 lbs low. Funny that it should start working properly after being silent for seven years.
