2016 Q7 Revealed
#21
Even tho I agree that the exterior design is questionable, my local dealer will have the real thing on December 10th. I'll have to reserve my judgement until i see it in the flesh. Although many liken its design to the Merc GL, I think its closer to the new X5.
Speaking of which, when the new X5 came out, I was a little disappointing as the previous version was beautiful.. Now I really like the new model, much more masculine and purposeful. I'm hoping that the Gen 2 Q7 does the same.
I can't imagine the most successful luxury auto maker in the world putting out a fugly top model SUV. So lets hope that the 2 dimensional photographs just don't do it justice as I plan on ordering one once the TDI comes out in the 3rd qtr of 2016. I'm also hoping for a black optics package as well.
Daytona grey Sline w/black optics... yea!

Saw it in real life Friday at an Audi event. Looks a lot nicer than the photos depict and the interior was very well done. Exterior was in Graphite Gray and my impression was that this was a lot more complementary to the styling than the colors we saw on the early pics. The body style isn't necessarily stirring, but gone is the whale profile....
