I LOVE the Black Optics package, and how it looks, but the cost? Sure the package is only $1500, but then you need to buy $1500 worth of tires every 20k miles, right (4 tires + alignment)?

Thank you everyone about the nice comments, I'll start a new thread after I pick it up tomorrow with lots of picture. It's got a few goodies so it should be a fun truck.
Regarding tires costs, I haven't looked into the details but even if it costs a a bit more compared to smaller tires I think it's worth it. I also have a 911, if you think these are expensive you should look at the cost of those.

But it's not just "a bit more." A quick, hardly-exhaustive search shows the 20s might cost around 325 each and the 21s might cost maybe 425 each... except what I've read suggests the 21s might only go about 20k miles before wearing down, while the 20s could go 30k or more. That means the 21s would cost you twice as much over the life of the car than the 20s (0.043 vs 0.85 cents per mile driven). Though you would look much cooler with them, for sure. =)

Hell I just read about the Bugatti that needs a new set of 40k tires after 18 minutes of hard-out driving. No matter what, we'll always be able to find a more expensive set of tires. ;P

I'd think that most of us buying these cars can afford the extra cost of the tires. Another factor for me at least, is that I live in New England. I'll be getting a set of 20's with dictated winter tires which will be driven at least four months a year.

I will eventually have a winter set of wheels, and I plan to drive my other car on fridays and weekends, if the family head out we would most likely take the MDX. So that should extend the life of the tires some

I'll be converting to the 295 21's when the time comes. There are better high performance all season options in that size. With 19" snows for the winter.
