Question: If I sign up for the lifetime ACNA membership will dealers/ACNA honor the 6% discount before the 6 months period is over? Understanding that I'll have to find a dealership that will honor it.

If you sign up for the lifetime membership, you are exempt from the 6 month waiting period. I just went thru a similar process, and after confirming that my dealership would accept the discount, became a lifetime member.

I can confirm that this worked for me as well. The dealer does not know how long you have been a member as long as you have the discount sheet from ACNA.

I was able to get a 4% discount on mine. I did have to call 12-15 dealerships to get that however.

I think most dealers don't care if you are a lifetime member or if it's 6 months. As a matter of fact, I had some dealers tell me about the lifetime membership loophole. Bottom line is that if you find someone to honor it, they will be fine with the certification that you are a lifetime member.

Actually, no dealer will care how long you are an ACNA member so long as you have the certificate in hand..

This what my dealer in Houston told me "Not on the q7 sorry our company along with others decided not to do that as we don’t get reimbursed by audi any more for the discount"

lol I was ready to buy my Q7 from Audi West Houston and they told me the same thing. Interestingly enough they said they would honor it for several other cars but not for the Q7. It's a shame because I would have rather purchased from them.
