Audi connect issue
Audi connect issue bugs me. Have downloaded app and verified my Audi account. It is time to insert car code and account name to make primary user. Says that there is no such account! I tried PIN option, says wrong PIN. In app and my Audi all seems ok, green light but cant get it work in MMI. Whats wrong? Cant remotely control car and it sucks.

This is the message. Someone said creating the profile with a mobile phone/tablet might be a problem?

Have your dealer set the key user? There is something the dealer have to do before you can add the key to the car. This was in my checklist to verify at dealership when picking up the car. I have seen many people had to go back to dealership to set this right.

Picked up my Q7 last night and dealt with this same issue today. The physical key should come with a fob that contains your key user code (a 10 digit number)-- the dealer should also have the code. The email address used to set up your myAudi account needs to be entered into Audi Connect on the MMI in the car with the key user code for the apps work. You should set your PIN on myAudi before setting the key user code in the car or you will have to re-do the key user code. It could be a lot easier but once you have the codes its not too bad.

That message comes after I put my login email and code from the key after rubbing the surface off. This should be straightforward, but for some reason it doesnt work.

Are you able to see your vehicle on the myAudi website with your email address as the log in? Also, the key code is case sensitive which can be tricky with the touch pad.

Yes , I checked everything 20 times. Car has traffic options etc. I just cant insert primary user and use car remotely. Did all of you use a pc to create user or mobile/pad?

I had a similar issue at the death. The tech specialist redid the forms three times to make everything was entered properly. Still didn't work. Called Audi customer service. After some negiotion/bargaining- called me 15 minutes later with a try for solution....Reset Audi Connect to factory settings and after the system reboot, key user was assigned on the first try!
