1. No, the 1st 2 digits are the week, but the last 2 digits are the year, so you would only see something like 4916.

2. We have no idea. It might end up being March or April 2017 assuming the 2018 will come out in July/ Aug.

Thanks SMYAWD,, but in reference to #2 ,, I continue to hear "my allocation , not many slots left,,,etc" . Its like we only have 5 more builds left this MY2017 ... kinda misleading to me ... I know some manufacturers (auto), have certain cutoff dates for the dealer orders for their production schedules ... apprec your thoughts .

Allocation is reset every month and the number that they can order changes every month too.

I'm right there with you. I ordered mine (Orca Black/Black Optic/Towing/Chassis Package/Cold Weather) on 7/1. Current build week is 4516. I'm hoping Santa will leave my Q7 in the driveway on Christmas day!

Go to port 2 days ago. May not see it until early August though depending on how quickly it gets out of there.
