2003 RS6 is so much better than the new S6
Just trying to keep this forum alive as my car is still alive LOL!
So why is a 2003 Audi RS6 so much better than a 2015 S6?
It's paid for! HA!

Interesting that you mention the S6. I had the oil and filter changed in my RS6 the other day, and while waiting, I peeked at the 2016 S6 on the showroom floor. With all the bells and whistles, the MSRP came in at $89k, and that included the 450hp engine. I sat in the S6 and wondered if I would be happy parting with the RS6 that I've had since 2 miles on the odometer. The new technological features of the S6 are superb, but I just couldn't get over the thought of paying about $100k once you include sales tax, Audi care service, and extended warranty.
Have you test driven the new S6?

yes, I was at an Audi track event back in 2013. Drove the S8 on the road course, and a V10R8, RS5, S6, and S7 on the race track. It was fun.
My RS6 is leaking oil or transmission fluid at the back end of the engine, may be main rear seal, but the fluid looked red on the garage floor. I am going to take it in on Monday for a better look at my local indy service guy.
It's becoming unreliable. I drove to and from Boston and the leak showed up the next day. So I am not sure how much blood it lost LOL. If I have to have the engine pulled then it will be a 5 to 10 k job since it would then make sense to change every seal on the the thing! LOL.
I just turned in my A8L (2013) at end of lease and had to turn down a buy out with CPO warrantee......college bills LOL....
My daily drive is no a 2.0 L A4........

I try not to even think about issues like this! ouch! I've had mine, a 2003 RS6 C5 Avant, for about a year now, and I've installed an aftermarket pioneer stereo in it, so with the automatic answering of my phone with bluetooth, and Android Auto, feels like a brand new car :-)
Although, a problem as come up with the brake and lights, everything is fine when I don't have the lights on, but when I turn my lights on, the brake light bulb/circuit warning light comes on a gives a persistant annoying chime, and when I turn the lights on, I lose power momentarily, and all the brake lights come on, but when I press the brake pedal, they just get a little brighter!
Anyone got any insights on this one???
