I recently became an owner of a RS6 Avant.

Unfortunately, after about 3 weeks of driving I found out that my intercoolers are totally shot and the pressure test indicated that both of them are seriously leaking.

The only option seems to be to replace the OEM intercoolers with some aftermarket parts.

Here I would like to ask whether anyone is aware of reasonable (and preferably cheap) option for replacement?
Currently I have been able to locate ones from Wagner (1600€) and Satz (850€: Satz Audi RS6 4B 4.2 V8 Bi-Turbo KWE Upgrade Ladeluftkühler LLK SMIC Intercooler - Online Shop OEM-plus-tuning ). However, given that it is essentially a large aluminium box, then I started to wonder that maybe there are cheaper replicas available?

Also, has anyone ever managed to repair their leaking intercoolers as I received information that some have managed?

Grateful for all kind of advice on the topic.

I believe Apikol makes some. The Wagners are nice. If you're not tuned, or don't run high boost for prolong periods of time.

Audi RS6 on FB and rs6.com has good info resources.

Congrats on the Avant-- no such luck here in USA.
