I’ve worked on several cars for the owner of this white Audi RS7 sedan in the past. This time he came by to have me vinyl wrap the roof of his RS7 with my gloss black vinyl material to give it the panoramic look. In addition to wrapping the main section/portion of the roof, I also wrapped the smaller rear top hatch part that sits right behind the main section of the roof. This gave it a smooth transition from the roof to the rear glass. The owner of this car came to me in Anaheim Hills/Orange County to have the work done.

Nice. Once I get done with the badge replacement on my RS7, blacking out the aluminum window trim and smoking/blacking the side markers will be the last thing I do. May have to look you up then.

Don, in a car like the RS7, I am happy to make the drive to you if that makes sense. Will ping you when I have enough of a delivery date to schedule around.

This black Audi A4 B8 came by to have me black out the chrome / brushed aluminum window trim that came with his car. The owner of this car was also around in Orange County and came out to me in Anaheim Hills to get the work done. In the before pictures, you can see my X5 in the background with black window trim, so that may also kind of give you an idea of how chrome and non chrome window trim looks like side by side on black cars. For this car, we went with my gloss black vinyl material over the matte black material and I think it turned out fairly nice. The car had a metallic finish to it, so the gloss black still stood out against it even though it was gloss black as well.

Nice. At this point, my preference would be for more of a satin or matte finish on the window trim, but who knows, maybe I will change my mind when I have car in hand.

I actually only have matte as well. I do not use satin, since it just looks like a bad paint job, which is in between being shiny and not shiny.

At the moment I only have Friday morning at either 10am or 11am available left for available spots for appointments this week.

Thanks.

Hey Don, have you ever wrapped the windshield frame of an R8? If so, got any pics? The alu-optic frame on mine is the non-carbon/non-titanium accent, and am thinking about fixing that without replacing the entire frame.
