Has anyone received any reliable info from APR about the downpipe and/or ECU upgrade stats on the RS7 Performance? Since the performance model already has some ECU programming enhancement over the base RS7, I'm curious about how much of the Stage I/II is redundant. Would be a shame to end up with the same post-tune stats as the standard version.

I asked APR this question in an email. I was told "Our engine tuning brings the output to the same level regardless of the trim level." I wasn't necessarily pleased with this wording as the Performance isn't exactly a "trim level." However, the implication was that the final output would be the same regardless of starting point.

Well that's disappointing, but not altogether surprising. Certainly takes the shine off of rushing out to get an APR upgrade.

Indeed. I would double check though. Like I said, the language wasn't entirely clear in their reply.

will let you know soon....but from what i have heard the gains over stock numbers remains and the tuned Performance model will be the same as a Prestige model in the end)...as for going from Stage I to Stage II, there are some minor differences to account for the Downpipe addition.
