Default APR mod

Has anyone run the APR ECU upgrade?

Seems in a gray area regarding warranty but adds 114 HP and 184 ft pounds over factory rating.

Any recommendations or warnings?

I have the APR mod on my current audi a4 and it had caused my turbo spool to break but it was a second hand car so it does wear parts faster, but it is possible to hide the chip by returning it to the factory mode in which case the dealer should still repair it.

P.S it only adds about 30hp and 50 ft-lbs of torque but it takes about .3 seconds off the time so i think its worth it.

Maybe on your A4 it adds that hp and torque, but way more is added on the RS7.

According to APR's baseline test, the rs7 is underated by about 29 hp and 47 torque as received from the factory. This still doesn't diminish the 123 hp and 179 torque increase they achieve over the factory rating.

I know some cars only get 30ish from a tune (my old z06 for example).
The 2.0 TDI tune only nets 49 and 30 torque from APR.

See the graphs from goapr.com

The graph is showing the differenc between "stock" as measured not as claimed by audi.

I have the APR tune. I have no issues at all it make a huge difference. You may have warranty issues but I figure I will flash back to stock and hope for the best.

I put the APR stage 1 tune in last week and I love it. The 93 tune in D-S mode is significantly quicker at all throttle positions.

This was not an incremental increase. Literally 1 to 1.5 car lengths difference against S63 in 0-60

I ran the 100 octane tune for the first time and must say its a complete blast

Everyone should get to do at least one full throttle pull like this before they kick the bucket
